Policy
Having defined the Quality Policy as based on our mission, we pursue continuous improvement in our quality management systems through the participation of all our employees.
ISO9001 Certification
Qualicaps has continued to build on and consolidate our quality assurance system, in March 1998 acquiring ISO9002:1994 certification for “hard capsule manufacture and distribution” and then in April of the same year ISO9901:1994 certification for “manufacture and distribution of inspection machines for capsules” – international standards for quality assurance.
In October 2003, we received ISO9001:2000 certification that integrates both “hard capsule manufacture and distribution” and “manufacture and distribution of inspection machines for capsules.”
In January 2018, we acquired ISO 9001: 2015 certification for “Design, Development, Production and Sales of Capsules for Pharmaceutical and Health/Nutrition Use” and “Design, Development, Production, Sales, Installation and Maintenance Service of Pharmaceutical Related Equipment, such as Capsule Inspection Machine.”
By implementing quality management systems and deeming customer satisfaction to be of primary importance, we are proactively engaged in activities to achieve continuous improvement of production skills and quality management systems, in addition to quality assurance.
Audits
Qualicaps strives for continuous improvement of quality management systems through the implementation of internal quality audits by dedicated teams and independent examination by external auditors, as well as through information from within and outside the company.
Environmental Initiatives
Policy
We are deeply aware that our company is also a member of society. Qualicaps should be a company that is kind to the environment and people by developing business activities that are conscious of the conservation of the natural environment, the prevention of pollution and the safety of people. To that end, we have formulated a Qualicaps Environmental Policy and promote continuous improvement activities in an environmental management system in accordance with our mission and with the participation of all our employees.
ISO14001 Certification
Qualicaps is located almost in the center of the Nara basin, home to many cultural assets and historical sites, including Horyuji Temple, the first place in Japan to be registered as a World Heritage Site. To that end, we have a heightened awareness of the need to conserve the natural environment and prevent pollution. In December 2001, three years after acquiring ISO9001 certification, we also acquired ISO14001 certification.
In December 2017, we acquired ISO14001:2015.
