Notice Concerning Rice-Derived Raw Ingredients

As you may be aware, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has issued a notice (Pharmaceutical and Food Safety Bureau Compliance and Narcotics Division notice no. 0918004 and Pharmaceutical and Food Safety Bureau Safety Division notice no. 0918001 dated September 18, 2008) about ensuring the quality and safety of pharmaceutical products made using rice-derived raw ingredients.

Accordingly, we would like to take this opportunity to assure you that no rice-derived ingredients are used in pharmaceutical gelatin capsules, HPMC capsules for medical use, or printing ink here at Qualicaps.
