Since its establishment in 1965, Qualicaps has developed and manufactured hard capsules for pharmaceuticals and health foods, as well as pharmaceutical equipment, with a focus on quality, and has supplied these products worldwide following our fundamental policy: we deliver high-quality products to help improve people’s health.

Qualicaps operates globally and employs a workforce of approximately 1,400 to provide products and services that aid people’s health worldwide. Our employees and operations are based in Japan, the United States, Canada, Spain, Romania, and Brazil.

In addition to our global development , we consolidated with Roquette on October 23, 2023. Roquette is a global leader in plant-based ingredients and a leading provider of pharmaceutical excipients, headquartered in Lille, France, that delivers natural plant-derived ingredients to pharmaceutical and food industries worldwide.

Qualicaps will continue to advance its capsule manufacturing technology and expand its existing know-how in the development and manufacture of pharmaceutical equipment to provide optimal solutions to meet the challenges faced by pharmaceutical companies, health food companies, and other global health stakeholders. Moreover, Qualicaps will seek to realize synergies with Roquette’s advanced technological, product, and development capabilities in the pharmaceutical and food domains and utilize its sales network in cooperation with each business division.
